Kyle Rollins, a former NCAA Division 3 champion at St. John Fisher College in New York competing unattached, won the men's high jump competition with a lifetime-best clearance at 7-4.50 (2.25m) at the 113th Drake Relays at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. Rollins missed on his first two chances at 7-3.75 (2.23m), before deciding to move the bar to 7-4.50, which he made on his only attempt at the height.
